realiza tareas manuales y administrativas relacionadas con el envío y la recepción de materiales, suministros, equipos y productos terminados. Puede mantener la documentación y los archivos necesarios. Utiliza herramientas manuales pequeñas y opera equipos de manipulación de materiales, como elevadores de carga, patines, manipuladores de tarimas y carros de mano. Prepara y embala mercadería para su envío; carga y descarga transportistas. Desembala y cuenta la mercadería recibida. Envía materiales a inspección, tiendas u otros destinos.
