*position responsibilities*:
primary responsibilities are providing outstanding customer service by resolving customer product issues over the telephone and ensure their experience is memorable. Also, as a team member you will be of support to the team’s needs and assist in data entry and order management.
*responsibilities include*:
- enter sales orders through the company's erp system. Assist on the inside sales promotions as part of the primary activities.
- resolve customer product / order issues in a courteous and professional matter, both outbound and inbound.
- process returns goods requests, other service issues and any other adjustments for customers.
- coordinates shipping requirements with distribution centers.
- support on maintenance to the erp system.
- learn about technical aspects of our products.
- think outside the box by proposing improvements to processes.
- maintain work documents updated.
- ability to provide excellent judgment in ambiguous situations and creative problem solving.
- act as backup for activities performed in other departments within customer service
- must meet and comply with department and company policies, procedures, objectives, and regulations.
*minimum qualifications*:
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal in english to communicate with external and internal customers, or other groups within the company in a professional way.
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in the areas of customer service, technical support, order entry and perhaps inside sales for customer within the united states.
- knowledgeable in mrp, erp, edi, crm, oracle, ms office, and e-commerce platforms
- must have flexibility to work within a flexible schedule and different work schedules, may include weekends.
- ability to work in extended periods on the telephone helping customers, including customer follow up.
- initiative to identify issues and areas of need and implement solutions.
- excellent judgment in ambiguous situations and creative problem solving; capable of handling various projects or tasks at the same time (multitasker)
- require a high school or technical degree.
- coordinate sales effort with other departments
*desired qualifications*:
- bs or ba degree in a technical or a related field
- possess working knowledge of irrigation products, systems, and customers.
- ability in working with high end technical troubleshooting support groups.
- advanced computer skills
- leadership and project management skills
- able to work with team objectives.
- ability to travel (visa)
