the global information systems organization is looking for an it manager with a balanced (business and technology) profile that leads all efforts related to our d2c business model deployments and improvements across the region.
*your responsibilities will include*:
this position will have the main responsibility of partnering with various business and gis digital stakeholders, at global and regional level, in order to create and drive whirlpool's strategic architecture direction for ecommerce, marketplace and digital marketing platforms.
the ultimate goal is to ensure an ecosystem of fit-for-purpose digital platforms that allows whirlpool to achieve its business results.
other key elements of this role are to ensure our digital environments are stable, agile, functional, and scalable, while leveraging reusable assets in order to ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
the ecosystem is end-to-end, covering not only ecommerce, websites and apps, but also product information management, digital asset management, consent management, back-end integration (sap erp/crm), advanced analytics readiness, third-party integrations, amongst others.
this position will have accountability on the technical deployment, evolution and operations support of all topics related to his scope of responsibility.
as a gis manager, you will:
- support the alignment and execution of whirlpool's strategic imperatives and the enablement of all the digital capabilities related to each imperative.
- own the delivery of business results related to b2c / d2c business models.
- help to build and maintain a world class digital ecosystem, and support the digital transformation of the company.
- lead the development of technology strategy and solution roadmap, the technical design of solution architecture, the evaluation of short and long term technology solutions
- work and align with internal, external, and global sponsors on key changes, priorities and strategies to meet whirlpool business needs and drive business value.
- ensure an agile delivery (using the scrum methodology) of business solutions and results is executed and in a cost efficient way.
- be responsible not only for the execution and successful implementation of regional ecommerce sites and marketplaces tools and platforms, but also to maintain those sites and tools by implementing enhancements, mobs and ensuring proper issues and incidents are solved.
- ensure all incidents, requests, changes and problems are addressed according to whirlpool regulations.
- plan, monitor and control a well thought project and operations budget that is aligned with business performance.
*minimum requirements*:
- education: bachelor's degree in an it-related career.
a master's degree is a plus.
- work experience:
- minimum of 5 years in relevant and related fields of ecommerce at the it department.
- experience implementing ecommerce sites or projects.
- thorough understanding of how to integrate business needs into a technology architecture.
- web configuration and operation of ecommerce sites / platforms, and their components (cms, oms, payment gateway, etc)
- technical skills: sap hybris, adobe experience manager, vtex, adobe analytics, google analytics, advanced tagging, seo optimization, payment methods.
- other skills: highly proactive, solution oriented, business outcome focused, cross-functional team player.
- effectively manage capital and expense budgets
- proven knowledge on agile methodologies.
scrum master certification is a plus.
- excellent oral and written communication skills.
- english level: above 70%
