monitor, control, and analyzes product and process quality to meet internal and customer requirement.
*duties and responsibilities*:
- write, edit, install and control all factory documents on a daily basis
- conduct all product fa/pa quality inspections and measurements on a daily basis.
- coach all factory personnel in quality system on a daily basis.
- manage corrective action response on a daily basis.
- conduct calibration program weekly.
- prepare for site and product qualifications-ongoing.
- determine through statistical data continuous improvement projects.
- detecting root causes for any defect found within the quality system.
- develop and sustaining effective corrective actions.
- analyzing statistical data for purpose of developing preventive measures.
- use various quality tools (doe, cause/effect, 5why) to monitor and enhance process controls.
- develop and track customer complaints and resolutions for timely responses.
- development of quality planning documentation (ppaps, fmeas, product management plans.
- responsible for determining quality inspection points (in-process, final) in the manufacturing facility.
- responsible for identifying and setting-up critical process control points and spc in the manufacturing facility.
- responsible for creation of quality inspection instructions/procedures and the training of personnel to those procedures.
- responsible for reviewing production quality data for trends and opportunities for improvement.
- determine the quality inspection level of product using customer specifications and requirements.
- perform other duties as assigned.
*required knowledge, skills and abilities*:
- strong written and oral communication skills.
- basic knowledge of statistical process controls.
- iso/qs 9000 background (preferred).
- understand technical documentation.
- must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
*education and experience*:
- bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- master's degree in engineering or supply chain preferred.
- must have previous experience in the quality production environment
