*responsibilities*:
- ensure the sustainable growth of ride-hailing in the respective region by implementing targeted strategies and initiatives.
- conduct market research on growth topics for ride-hailing, including the identification of potential start cities and determining the necessary investment volumes.
- develop and implement strategies for launching new cities, ensuring smooth and efficient rollouts.
- monitor and analyze growth metrics and business indicators to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- manage pricing strategies and maintain a balanced marketplace to ensure competitive and profitable operations.
- generate and validate business, marketing, and product hypotheses, building minimum viable products (mvps) for testing.
- conduct customer development (custdev) through field research with passengers and drivers to gather valuable insights and feedback.
- collaborate with related departments (marketing, product, driver acquisition, government relations, public relations, market research, data analysis, etc.) to successfully launch new business initiatives.
- maintain and improve business metrics by executing initiatives to acquire new users and increase their engagement.
- participate in strategy definition, market research, and competitor analysis to support the development of the intercity vertical strategy in spanish-speaking central american latam.
*qualifications*:
- at least 3 years of experience in business development, strategy, or operations
- experience in the ride-hailing space/ b2b & b2c delivery, e-commerce marketplaces in a data-heavy role (business/product/ops analyst), ideally with b2c products
- strong proficiency in excel
- ready for business trips within and outside the country
