role responsibilities
- support transition and onboarding of new accounts to the asset management service
- support deployment of asset management tools
- support automation of data feeds and processes
- create integration between asset management tools and other databases and tools within dell and in a customer's environment
- provide ongoing support to the toolsets and databases for the asset management unit
- troubleshoot issues related to asset management tools on a day to day basis
- work with vendors and other technical teams to identify, resolve and mitigate issues on an expedited basis
- develop tools for asset management as required
*requirements*:
- minimum of 5 years of related experience in asset management; experience should show a good understanding of both hardware and software asset management policies and procedures, best practices and tools
- extensive experience in vb scripting
- expert level skills in.net programming
- expert skills in database management and development
- hands on experience with etl tools
- hands on experience with reporting/bi tools
- project management abilities
- proven ability to work effectively across multiple groups and stakeholders
- skilled in communicating technical and non-technical concepts effectively, both in oral and written proactive and self-motivated
- 25% to 50% travel to customer sites is required
preferences
- understanding of asset management processes and policies
- shell scripting
- experience implementing and managing flexera flexnet manager platform and associated modules (fnmea, saas manager, and sap)
