*spire event & sponsorship sales associate*spire is a world-class sports complex and events center seeking an event & sponsorship sales associate to support the organization's growth in the international, national and regional sports marketplace.
spire currently hosts many major events in track and field, aquatics, basketball, volleyball and others including ncaa, big ten, big east, atlantic 10, masters, usa swimming, usa wrestling, usa artistic swimming, and usa wheelchair basketball.
based on a 2021 regionomics impact study, spire's activities added $57.5 million in additional output (production and spending) in ashtabula county.
spire's output impact statewide totaled $90 million, net earnings increased $30 million, and 1,000 jobs were sustained statewide.with over one million daily visits throughout the year and growing, the objective is to procure, develop and partner on new event opportunities, as well as sell comprehensive sponsorships related to these events.responsibilities include:- researching new event and partnership leads and event concepts through research, outreach, cold calling and/or existing relationships.- gaining access to key decision makers and connecting to spire on-site events and business development team.- cultivating meaningful and beneficial relationships and building a network of event, sponsor and vendor partners.- coordinating site tours for prospective event hosts and sponsors.- assisting in the creation of custom event sales and sponsorship materials.- maintaining timely and accurate records in hubspot (sponsorships) and tripleseat (hubspot).- juggling deadlines and prioritizing time to optimize efforts to achieve spire's financial and brand objectives.
