the job holder will lead complex, cross functional, global programs delivering innovative logistics and digital solutions aimed at increasing visibility and agility while reducing costs and environmental impact within the pharmaceutical industry.
the projects may include responsibility for managing budgets and facilitating both internal and external teams of global, cross functional specialists.
*accountabilities*- lead global and cross-functional programs involving pct team, ensuring the program/ project is managed in line with az project management framework (pmf)/ organizational change framework (cmf) standards.- accountable for the delivery of national or international logistics-related projects and programs of work ensuring that they are delivered on time, to budget and in line with the agreed financial and non-financial business benefits.- overcome complex problems that will require innovative and well-developed solutions, demonstrating astrazeneca lean tools where necessary.- lead the development of cases for potential new operations projects.- lead the creation of the project plan via the project sponsor agreeing the plan including activities, resources, costs, risks, role and responsibilities and quality assurance.- ensure adherence to project work plans and recommend any required revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.- effectively communicate any impacts and changes that result from the project to the business.- responsible for building and leading project teams and ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated and that all project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately.- responsible for building project/program improvement plans ensuring that all project risks are identified and managed effectively by the business leaders and project team.- responsible for resolving project quality and compliance risks and issues and where appropriate bring up these to your project sponsor.- manage relationships with key business collaborators to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and committed to the objectives of the project
