Communication manager will support the delivery of the gbs hub's communications strategy at site level. This role will ensure the effective and efficient landing of strategic key messages and global campaigns and provide communication support to the site leadership team, local talent & culture, and various customers.

*accountabilities*
- create and implement the internal communication plan, in alignment with global brand advocacy team, gbs expansion hubs priorities, and strategy, with support from the local leadership team.
- provide communication support to the hub for key initiatives, projects, and senior team members visits.
- build content for all communication channels, including editorial content, social content, blogs, brochures, internal announcements, leaflets, infographics, animations, and videos, with the support of the digital content manager.
- design and publish engaging content on defined social media platforms, tailored to the specific cultural and linguistic contexts of the different hubs.
- coordinate messages across multiple channels, ensuring that internal communications are done in a scheduled, targeted, and well-organized manner.
- organize internal events, including town halls and local celebrations, focusing on coordinating the agenda, content, flow, speakers, special moments, and event memorabilia, with support from the facilities team for event logistics.
- provide comms support for the local talent & culture team, ensuring effective communications of various projects and initiatives developed, including celebrations and recognition.
- contribute to the department communications planning process, ensuring alignment of internal and external communications for campaigns and key projects.
- identify relevant target groups (external customers) and communication channels to improve the impact of communication.
- actively search for ways to optimize the impact of internal campaigns; adopt and implement standard methodologies inspired by industry trends, competitor data, and other sources.
- drive effective and clear communications and team member engagement.
- coordinate with gbs leadership team in the development of creative campaigns to enhance employee engagement on bat ethos.
- provide strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and cooperate with communication teams across different locations and backgrounds.
- continuously elevate internal communication activities to the highest organizational level to optimize consistency and efficiency.
- implement the local comms budget and activities and manage relationships with external vendors.

- 5-6 years of proven experience in multinational corporations, exposure to multicultural teams, and matrix structure.
- ability to coordinate activities in a dynamic environment.
- capacity to handle complexity, turning complexity into simplicity and delivering clear messages; ability to explain technical matters in a clear and brief manner.
- creativity to power up the development and implementation of internal campaigns stimulating employee engagement.
- e2e event management (in-situ and online events), event design, agenda, coaching for speakers and negotiating best offers with external vendors.
- understanding of data & insights that can help to build content creation.
- expertise in approaching critical issues/cases, considering cultural differences.
- creative, self-motivated individual, using high professional standards and able to bring forth a strong orientation to the quality level of services for internal clients.

- excellent written and verbal communication skills in english.
- experience developing different versions of content for a range of social/digital channels, such as infographics, data visualization, animation, and video.
- experience with content creation tools and software, such as adobe creative suite, canva, or other design and video editing tools.
- understanding of the organizational structure and business strategies of multinational companies.
