responsibilities:
* customer demand plan long term
* long term production planning
* manage, train and coach schedulers
* organize continuous improvement activities
* schedule attainment of production planning
* inventory management: accuracy, right safety stock, risk management
* monitor special freight costs, root cause analyses, preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence
* monitor standardized work of schedulers (e.g., bcaq usage, delivery performance)
* communicate issues in planning, supply to involved departments
* coordination of engineering changes, launches, phase out, spare parts
* follow up customer’s portals and requirements
* participate in regional scheduler's network
experience:
* university degree with a focus on production and logistics is desired
* experience in the automotive sector for at least 5 years
* work experience in production planning is needed
* minimum of 3 years work experience as scheduler, supply chain management, inventory management, forecast trends, and safety stock management
* experience with sap cdp-mm-pp
* advanced english language skills are needed
* knowledge of apics
* working with customers and suppliers from outside the home country
* knowledge and utilization of statistical tools (spc, six sigma, etc.), decision-making, and problem-solving tools (a3, 8ds)
