*performs a variety of support duties in order to maintain control over raw materials, parts in process, and/or finished products inventories.
performs inventory counts and verification based on established schedule and resolves discrepancies.
*how you will do it?
*- operates within the system and policy structure required by corporate, division and juarez plant policies- insures timely processing of all purchase orders.- evaluates and approves potential suppliers to achieve lower costs and reduced lead-times.- requires and processes quotes from and issues bid/orders to suppliers.- maintains the integrity of system data.- interfaces with the jci corporate indirect materials teams to insure participation in corporate cost reduction projects.- maintains indirect materials purchasing savings project trackers.
participates in monthly conference calls.- meet the training requirements.- comply with activities specified in jci safety commitment letter.- participate in ehs seminars or workshops.- participate in the activities to comply with the ehs system.- participate in the investigation of incident or accidents when are require.- having the authority to stop and prevent unsafe actions and stop the use of unsafe equipment and- participate in required activities related to hpts system.
*what are we looking for?
*- college degree (desirable)- english 95%- familiar with symix operation- experienced with mrp system and demand flow.- excellent analytical and communications skill-both written and verbal.- excellent negotiation skill with contracts- project leadership experience- ability to work with peers to accomplish common objectives- working knowledge of other disciplines, such as manufacturing, engineering, marketing, quality control and accounting.- ability to read, understand and interpret drawings, engineering change notices, schematics and special instructions to determine necessary information for the ordering, purchasing and coordination of the correct item or component.
