what will your day be like at acps automotive qro as a supplier quality engineer?
position authority:
stop any operation or activity that poses a risk to product safety or any aspect within the organization, immediately notifying the relevant areas according to the organization's escalation plan. You will also communicate, negotiate, and establish agreements with suppliers regarding improvement plans and the launch of new projects. Additionally, you have the authority to make notifications and charges related to non-quality issues.
position responsibility:
you are responsible for ensuring quality and monitoring supplier performance to guarantee the quality of materials according to internal requirements, customer specifications, and applicable standards. Manage the development of purchased parts with suppliers for new projects until the approval of ppap and run at rate, utilizing quality system tools such as applicable procedures and instructions.
follow up and manage the quality of suppliers for serially purchased parts, coordinating and monitoring continuous improvement plans and/or 8d reports, as well as the processes defined internally at acps for managing this activity. Coordinate the activities and inspection staff to carry out quality assurance actions upon receiving purchased materials. Manage annual supplier requalifications and non-quality costs. Report and manage development plans for underperforming suppliers. Conduct on-site audits of suppliers.

admission profile:
industrial, mechanical engineering, or related field. Knowledge of iatf 16949, vda 6.3, iso 14001, csr, business english. Experience with stamping, painting, and welding processes, as well as internal and supplier audits. 6 years in supplier quality or project roles. 5 years as a lead auditor.
