as a principal you will demonstrate mastery of best in class ux process and ability to perform all facets of the ux discipline including information architecture, interactive and visual design. Be a driver and person who can manage multiple strategic and complex design projects. Be a strong advocate for the customer at all times. Influence key metrics. Mentor and teach others what you have clearly mastered.

* mentor – support the build out of the design team by growing junior resources and teaching others what you have clearly mastered.

* data driven - uses nps and other usability kpi’s in decision making. Can demonstrate roi of usability improvements.

skills & requirements qualifications:
technical accomplishments
* 8 years of ux design experience.
* digital portfolio must express proficiency in how you work and what you have completed. Demonstration of design systems architecture and project lifecycle is a must.
* demonstrate ability to solve design problems, not just make pretty pictures
* demonstrate expertise in designing experiences and user interfaces for responsive web and mobile apps
industry knowledge
* extensive experience in using ux design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
* extreme knowledge of atomic design and has practiced it in the past.
* a solid grasp and importance of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, usability and accessibility concerns.
technical abilities
* expertise in ux software such as figma sketch, zeplin, invision, uxpin, balsamiq. Basic understanding html5, css3, and javascript is important.
* having the experience in user-centered design, rapidly test, wireframing, high-fidelity, prototyping, researching.
* expertise in building design systems and style guides
* have experience in user research and strategy doing ethnography studies
* ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
technical collaboration
* ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
* being able to make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
* ability to work tightly with a cross-functional team of developers, product owners, and management to guide solutions into production.
* experience in team and project management, writing user stories – and practicing the agile methodology development process.
