Position summary:
we’re seeking a high-performance, results-driven sales professional to pursue new business in mexico. As a key player in our growth strategy, you’ll be responsible for building and expanding black box’s control room solutions business by identifying and closing new opportunities. Your mission is clear: win deals, grow revenue, and drive market share through prospecting, strategic sales efforts, and relationship-building with channel partners, resellers, and direct accounts. You will craft and execute winning strategies to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets.
job responsibilities:
* identifies new account and partnership prospects, and works to develop these accounts and close new business through a variety of channels and methods. These include building sales opportunities directly with end-user customers, and through strategic partnership (including channel, distribution, re-seller, and system integrator partners).
* forecasts stocking levels to support sales opportunities for the aggregate team. Provides forecasts regularly to the sales leadership team.
* leads relationship building efforts for the sales team by establishing contacts with internal and external sources.
* build, manage & maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to support target achievement with channel partners.
* effectively uses salesforce.com (our crm system) to help track, develop opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline/forecast.
* demonstrate black box’s product & solution suite clearly & differentiate black box’s offerings within the market.
* develops and directs sales programs and initiatives for the business organization.
* conduct monthly quarterly business reviews with key customers and partners.
* additional duties as assigned.

* extensive experience selling technology products directly to end-user customers, and through strategic partners within the mexico marketplace.
* history of successful attainment of sales goals and winning new business.
* excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation and negotiation skills.
* strong working knowledge of current and changing company products and service offerings; ability to maintain industry/competitor knowledge.
* strong organization skills to multi-task demanding priorities; effective use of resources to deliver customer results.
* ability to understand customer buying processes and drivers and align sales approaches accordingly.
* possess a high degree of self-motivation and drive with a confident and determined approach
* ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* able to think analytically.
* capable of establishing priorities and balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in business or similar field, or equivalent education and work experience.
* 3-5 years of sales experience.
* bilingual fluency in spanish and english.
* ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
* experience in working with a crm system/tool, preferably salesforce.com.
